Greenergy Holdings Incorporated (GREEN) was originally incorporated as MUSX Corporation on January 29, 1992 to primarily engage in the manufacturing and sale of semiconductor products. However, in 1999, with the approval of its shareholders, the Company became a holding company and presently continues as such.
In the latter part of 2010, under new management, GREEN began pursuing new business opportunities and divested from the semiconductor business. One of these new ventures pertain to the field of renewable energy. Following the divestment, in 2011, the Securities Exchange Commission approved the Company's proposal to change its corporate name to the present one.
Currently, GREEN and its subsidiaries are involved in diverse industries, including renewable energy and waste recycling projects, food and agriculture, information technology, fintech, biotech, green infrastructure, and transit-oriented property development.
The Company's subsidiaries are Sunchamp Real Estate Development Corp.; Total Waste Management Recovery System, Inc.; Winsun Green Ventures Inc.; AgriNurture Development Holdings, Inc.; Lite Speed Technologies, Inc.; Yakuru Group Pty. Limited; and Ocean Biochemistry Technology Research, Inc.
